Joakim Sandgren
Joakim Sandgren (b. 1965 in Stockholm) studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, IRCAM (Paris), and the VIII University of Paris. His music has been performed by Itinéraire, 2e2m, Court circuit, Taller Sonoro, Soyoz21, Archaeus, Champ d'Action, Tokyo Gen'On Project, Modern Music Ensemble, Gageego, Curious, NEO, Mimitabu and in festivals such as Warsaw Autumn and Darmstadt.
objets saisis - for Bass Clarinet and a four-channel tape (2012)
objets saisis is the fourth solo work out of six for solo instrument and a four-channel tape. The tape is an electroacoustic shadow behind the amplified instrumental part. The shadows can be more or less deformed. The instrumental part and the tape have different detail levels and I happily blend them to obtain the rich mixture of the two worlds.
