Elegy – In Remembrance Utøya 22.07.2011 - sound installation (2011)

The massacre at Utøya created great sadness inside me. I chose electronic sounds to express these feelings. The dark sounds represent the maniac and the horror. The high pitches represent the victims' fear and the departed souls. The work is composed by utilizing Ableton Live (with Max for Live plug-in). Filters, pitch changes and time shift are the main building blocks.
